ZIMBABWE

Challenges for Prayer:

• Please continue to pray for the government of Zimbabwe. Pray that God would move in a mighty way through the ranks of leaders. That justice and peace would reign again.
• Praise God for the rain that has fallen and for the people who have planted seed in anticipation of a harvest. Pray that God would bless their efforts.
• Pray for the many people who remain unemployed and/or sick, with very little resources and medicine. Pray that God would be a very real comfort to them at this time.
• Pray for the many families that are seperated due to unemployemnt and the lack of jobs in Zimbabwe. That absent spouses will remain faithfull to one another. That the ‘single parent’ – responsible for the children – will recieve wisdom and strenght to raise the children according to the prescriptions of the Bible.
• Pray for the church in Zimbabwe, that it would continue to be a light and a voice in this period of the history of the nation.
• Pray for Theological College of Zimbabwe (TCZ) as they continue to try and find a new president. That students, who are called for ministry, will enroll in great numbers. That sufficient (international) funding will be provided to sustain the activities.
• Pray for our ‘sister’ church in Bulawayo – City Presby. Pray that the elders would be successful in finding a pastor in the short term.
