Missions Focus: PRAY FOR MUSLIMS IN AFRICA RAMADAN
11 AUGUST – 9 SEPTEMBER 2010 “Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You” (Ps. 67:5). Let us join with Christians worldwide praying for Muslims to come to faith in Jesus during Ramadan when they search for answers. - Pray for conversions in the countries in Africa where more than 97% of the population are Muslims: Western Sahara, Somalia, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya.
- Pray for the protection of believers in the countries where Christians are persecuted: Somalia, Mauritania, Eritrea, Comores, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Nigeria, Sudan.
- Pray for every Christian worker in the Middle East & North Africa there are at least 500 000 Muslims.
- Pray for many more Church Planters to go to North Africa & the Middle East, live among the people and share the LOVE of CHRIST with them.
- Pray for Christians to reach out to Muslims in love and humility, boldly sharing the Gospel.
- Pray for Muslims in Africa to turn to Jesus during this month.
- Pray that the life-less rituals of Islam will frustrate the Muslims.
- Pray for Muslim women: they most often do not have access to proper education and are abused by husbands.
- Pray for Christian women to make friends with Muslim women
- Pray that many of the women will find new hope in Jesus

Missions Focus: THE BAY FAMILY - ANDRÉ, MASHA, STEPHEN, DANIEL & ANYA
RECHTENBACH GERMANY We are rejoicing in God's grace as we see how doors for ministry are opening up. The church in Worms have invited us back to preach in November. This would be an evangelism weekend and I am really looking forward preaching the gospel in three sermons during the weekend! Pray for many people to come to saving faith in Christ. Our work here in Wetzlar is going well, although we would like to see more unbelievers come to faith in Christ through our work. We are desperately looking for a place in Wetzlar city/town to have our services. Please pray with us for the Lord to provide a place soon. October will be a busy month with our Reformation Youth Camp and a crucial meeting with other Reformed pastors in Munich for the formation of a Reformed platform from which we pray the glorious truths of God's word could counter the loose liberal teaching and practices in so many churches over here. Please pray for our camp as we hope to see many young people come to a better understanding of God's word. Also pray for the meeting in Munich. With us as a family everything is going well. We are so grateful to the Lord for His protection and mercies. Pray for them to master the German language. Pray for hearts receptive to the Gospel among the Germans. |
